My Story…

I can honestly say that I have never felt better, and given that I had a growing list of symptoms with each passing year beginning in my 30’s, I never could have imagined that would have been possible.

I had always been sensitive and was colicky as a baby. Throughout my school years, I was often sick due to a compromised immune system, was susceptible to respiratory infections, and required weekly allergy shots for years. As an adult, my allergies and sensitivities worsened, and after having a comprehensive blood panel with an integrative and functional doctor, my results came back confirming that I was allergic to pretty much everything — minerals, vitamins, most food groups, all things found in nature, pet dander, the list goes on and on. Basically I needed to live in a bubble or else I’d suffer.

Additionally, I struggled with severe adrenal fatigue, chronic migraines, foggy brain, joint pain, digestive upset and bloating, inflammation, weight gain, depression, generalized and social anxiety, and more. I was scared for my future, and was desperate for help and answers, and not just to be prescribed more drugs as those often made me feel even worse. I felt terribly alone.

One part of me felt I needed to just accept that this was just the hand I was dealt, while the other part of me refused to give up hope.

Opportunities to find deeper powers within ourselves come when life seems most challenging.

Finding healing…

In my quest for relief, I found an incredibly gifted and intuitive acupuncturist, so that was my first foray into energy healing. I was living in NYC at the time and had access to so many incredible alternative healers and shamans, so I started exploring different types of energy healing modalities. I was intrigued by the work they were doing and all the mysteries that are “energy.”

I also started learning about what I could do to be more respectful and loving to my body so I made many changes in my lifestyle — from movement, to food, to the products I used. I had always been so uncomfortable in my body, physically and emotionally due to unresolved trauma, and along my journey of healing, I learned the symptoms were messages so I started to listen…really listen. I finally understood that my body was not against me, as I had always felt was the case, and developed a deeper connection and respect for my body. I also began to incorporate various spiritual practices into my daily life.

I have chosen to take a holistic path to healing, and learned to be my own health advocate as this approach is not the traditional one, though it’s the right one for me. I’ve had to get honest with what works and doesn’t work with my body, and rely on my intuitive wisdom. Most importantly, I’ve learned that I need to love, accept and have compassion for all parts of me.

I am incredibly passionate about sharing my knowledge and gifts with others, and have deep empathy and compassion for those who are suffering. It is my life’s purpose to help people to realize vibrancy, peace, balance and joy.

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
